A free informational seminar
entitled “Aging Services & Legal Planning for the Elderly,”
sponsored by NACOLG’s Department of Senior Services, is scheduled
for Thursday, July 22 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Darby Drive
Church of Christ in Florence, Alabama. Guest speaker, Jan Neal,
Attorney with Davis & Neal will discuss topics ranging from
advanced directives to planning for long-term care in addition to
providing information on wills and estates. Representatives from
the Northwest Alabama Council of Local Governments will present
information about the State Health Insurance and SenioRx programs
as well as other public services available through their agency.
