If the high cost of gasoline is
keeping you “grounded” this summer, NACOLG’s transit program can
get you out of the house at a fraction of the cost. For a mere
$1.50 one way, a public transit vehicle will pick you up and
deliver you to your destination within the metro Shoals area,
including the police jurisdictions--within a three to four mile
radius of Florence, Sheffield, Tuscumbia and Muscle Shoals.
Available Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.,
the transit program can take you where you need to go, including
Regency Square Mall, local libraries, doctors’ offices as well as
local shopping centers and municipal buildings. For more
