Williamsburg Holiday Decorations
Bring cheer this holiday season with your own stunning
creations. In this
short and fun class, you'll create an outside wreath and
a centerpiece using
fresh materials in the traditional, Williamsburg
fashion. You will have
everyone wondering where you got the "magazine perfect"
decorations. A list
of supplies will be given upon registration.

QuickBooks 2006 - Basic Skills
This 12 hour course will cover the basic skills
necessary to use QuickBooks
Pro 2006 as efficiently as possible. We will begin with
an introduction to
QuickBooks including backup procedures and portable
documents. The course
will use a unique approach to teaching basic accounting
principles as we
learn the software while looking at the accounting
concepts behind the
scenes. We will work with a case study of a service
oriented business and
will cover customer transactions, vendor transactions,
QuickBooks online
banking as well as create a customer file from scratch
including setting up
a chart of accounts. Integrated in each section will be
a discussion about
available reports pertinent to that section. The
instructor is a Certified
QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Level 2
Once you understand the basics of Outlook, it is now
time to look at
customizing Outlook to best suit your needs. Email can
be very time
consuming to handle but Outlook has a lot of features
that make handling it
much easier. In this course we will discuss email
signatures, using Word as
your email message editor, using spell check, formatting
email messages,
saving outlook items and handling junk email (spam),
working with email
attachments including downloading files, opening, saving
and printing
attachments, sending attachments, instant messages with
outlook and
compressing (zipping) files. We will then discuss
scheduling meetings,
confirming meetings, customizing the calendar,
customizing outlook files,
and saving a calendar as a web page. Finally we will
discuss managing email
messages, finding outlook items, customizing outlook
views, using search
folders, organizing outlook messages with rules,
archiving outlook items and
working with contact journals.
